Apsides. The human disaspora bound in utopian bliss across the stars. Amongst this span of humanity is Eidelos, a world struck from the roll of accountability and set aside for unrestricted experimentation and self-determination. Command a group of experiments on the run from distant masters on this world teeming beneath the yoke of a sublight empire.

Fight. Salvage. Hide. Steal. Protect. Choose your battles and allies carefully, before they're chosen for you.

For now, you are a speck beneath the attention of anyone whose gaze confers merit. But when the sands run down and the hand becomes the fist: where will it find you?

Aegis Ascendant is a turn-based tactical RPG nested in a strategic sandbox campaign. Build mechs from scavenged and purchased parts and command your pilots on the battlefield against overwhelming odds. You are the smallest player in a big world. Too much heat from the wrong people will see your hidden hangars and safehouses raided, more and better equipped enemies on the field, and elite hunters gunning for your bounties.

A saving grace is that the enemy works off the same constraints that you have, there's no cheating or omniscience for the enemy whatsoever. Manage your roster of pilots and assets with their own personalities, bonds, injuries and motives, and be mindful of losing one in battle. A captured pilot risks revealing your locations and loadouts, sparking retaliatory raids and strikes or worse. On the strategic layer, navigate a complex series of relations across an ancient world filled with the cast offs, residue, hopes, and experiments of distant masters. Contend with factions who have their own agendas and aspirations, earning their favor and maybe their protection, or provoke their ire and face their elite response units. Gather intelligence and assets, plan your missions, take up contracts, and salvage as much as you can from the battlefield before reinforcements sweep the field.

More coming soon.
